But if a nonprofit decides to purchase hardcopy books, scan them in, and create a digital lending program providing works to anyone who asks -- for free, that's checks notes illegal. :D

how can i feel free to tinker with my website without feeling like it's supposed to be my main public-facing thing and should therefore contain all the proper public-facing things and be well structured and well maintained and not in a constant state of half-brokenness?
I've discovered, I can configure Safari iOS to open links directly in Reader mode, and there will be no going back. No ads, no cookie popup, no nothing. Except for the cute personal websites. I'll deactivate it for those
